Win a roof rack from Rod Vault

continuing our 365 days of Christmas giving….:-)

There are few days before Christmas and we have another great giveaway for you guys. Today’s giveaway comes to you courtesy of Rod Vault roof rack.

When I got started I made my own rack with some wood, PVC piping and a half of an old ski rack. It served its purpose I suppose, but the wood rotted pretty fast and I was always in fear that I will see my rods in my rearview mirror in thousand pieces. Then I tried the full ski rack and that kind of worked too, except I didn’t not care the way the reels were swaying in it and at times banging on the roof of the truck. When I guided for one year I decided that I will have too many rods on the roof, unsecured, so I purchased two Rod Vaults. One of the best fishing purchases I ever made. Years later they still look good, I always admired the ease of use and I really appreciated being able to lock my reels  on the top of my truck.

For 2012 there are few changes in Rod Vault. The front clips have been replaced with rubber latch system and the reel receiving metal portion has been enlarged so it acts as a contact point to minimize marring to reel stems.

One of you is going to win this two rod rack from Rod Vault.

The Rod Vault was deisgned to keep both rods & reels secure from theft during transport. The Rod Vault is capable of locking either spinning or conventional outfits to any SUV roof rack, pick-up truck cap or RV side. Once locked the rod vault cannot be removed, as the mounting hardware is not accessible. Save time and fish more, why break down gear and re-rig transport two, three or four rods and reels all at once. When you consider the price of today’s fishing reels- the rod vault will give you piece of mind that you equipment will be there when you return to your vehicle. Why buy a typical fishing rod roof rack? When there is the tested and proven rod vault.
