Posting from inside Hofstra… Been on a line that’s literally been steadily moving into the show since they started letting in 45 mins ago. Didn’t know this many people surf fished. Will be glad for every time I’m able to find an empty bit of sand to cast from. I think if all attendees stood shoulder to shoulder, we’d cover all of the CSS.

Feeling bad for any presenters who aren’t comfortable addressing a large crowd.

Got to Hofstra 7:45 line almost out the rear door, waited forever like the guy said lots of surf guys. Wanted to checkout new graphite rods; will do it at local tackle shops. Left… Maybe next year you guys will account for additional admin.
    Anyway, Tight Lines !

Obviously a ton of planning went into this and there was truly an awesome list of vendors and presenters in attendance! So thank you to SJ for all of there hard work and initiative.

Tony I got there at 8:00 and couldn’t find the end of the line so don’t feel bad. I’ve never seen a crowd like that at any type of fishing / outdoor show. The sheer volume of people was insane… we could have possibly filled Yankee Stadium!

Its all SCJ’s fault..they are the greatest cast of characters of the sport..
There will always be night fishing and nasty weather fishing..that will weed out the weak..
Im a saltwater fly fishing guy Ill stay out of the way..Happy New Year to Zeno and the gang..

Thanks everybody for all the work that went into this show. It was as everyone has reported quite a turnout. I think you may need a bigger boat.

I got there at 8:15, line was enormous but once it started moving it was OK. Too crowded at the inside entrance area but again, once the seminars started a lot of it opened up. Was unable to find a couple of listed exhibitors so maybe a floor plan would have bee a help. Had a great time, great show, saw familiars etc. Next year I’m coming at 11:00 or Noon to skip the lines. Great job overall SCJ.
